In 2010 I renovated the rear of my old home in Brunswick East, as an owner builder. Being an inveterate recycler, I just couldn’t part with the old weatherboards, their abject beauty carrying years of history painted in various retro colours. They became the perfect new/recycled drawing material for my ongoing mixed media obsession.
