Marina Abramovic, born in 1946 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, is without question one of the seminal artists of our time. Abramović's work explores the relationship between performer and audience, the limits of the body, and the possibilities of the mind.
At the New Delhi Art Fair with Peter Burke and his brilliant PURSUIT gallery. He attracted much attention at the Art Fair with his collection of thirty of Australians most collectable artists - canvasses pinned inside his roaming tailored suit jacket. I believe half of his collection was sold, including mine :)
